j star rockers (she/they) is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, writer and musician. Her stories, essays and poetry have appeared in Braided Way,Noö Journal, Feminist Review, Melusine, Thematic, and others. She has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the Inland Northwest Center for Writers and an MDiv from Meadville Lombard Theological School. Formerly she was managing editor for Willow Springs Literary Magazine and nonfiction editor for Crab Creek Review. Her 2006 folk album Beloved On Earth can be found on Apple Music and Spotify. She has served as preacher and pastor at congregations throughout the Pacific Northwest where she lives with her family & other animals.
